Foreign Portfolio Investors : The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) notified new Foreign Portfolio Investors Regulations 2014 ( herein after referred as FPI Regulations) to put in place an easier registration process and operating framework for overseas entities seeking to invest in Indian capital markets.


Stock Holding is registered with SEBI as Designated Depository Participant (DDP). Stock Holding will grant Registration to FPIs on behalf of SEBI and will offer its custodial services in compliance with applicable guidelines.

The online FPI Registration Portal will capture the preliminary details of the Applicant and details as prescribed by the Regulator for FORM A submission. At the initial stage, as per the details provided by the Applicant, StockHolding’s custody Team will assist you in:


Step 1:

Ascertaining the Eligibility Criteria under the FPI Regulations. If required more information may be sought from the Applicant.


Step 2:

On fulfilling the eligibility criteria, StockHolding will e-mail the Proposal-cum-engagement letter for providing DDP & Custodial Services in your Registered email-id. On due acceptance of the Mandate, you may proceed to STEP 3.


Step 3:
